Location BrooklynPhotographer Noah Kalina’s work has appeared in New York magazine, Interview, and Esquire and has been exhibited internationally at museums and galleries around the world. He’s best known for Everyday, a self-portrait project started in January 2000. The film, consisting of thousands of photos of himself taken over a period of six years, is in the permanent collection of the Austin Museum of Art, inspired a Simpsons parody, and led to an iPhone app.

Professionally, he’s a part-time imaginary friend (though he often wonders what it’d be like to be a suit maker). Not much is known about Gary’s background, other than that his closest companion is an art director from Sydney, Australia named Josh Beggs. Josh is the creative director of an entertainment magazine, has a dog named Baxter, and is a talented illustrator.
